Thy kingdom come

Matchless name

denverbabu | July 11, 2011 07:07

His name shall be called Immanuel: God with us. Many so called teachers and leaders appeared on the world scene, countless followed them. All of them are resting in the grave.  But there is only one Immanuel. History is His story and he divides every human event.  Nobody has ever referred to him as the late Jesus, not even the critics. He is Immanuel, the Living God.  Christ Died for the Sins of mankind rose from the dead for the believers, sat at the right hand of God and coming again to take reigns of the world.

His name is matchless- Jesus the Immanuel.

Changing of the guard

denverbabu | April 02, 2011 20:53

On the Mount of Olives, the disciples inquired of the Lord about the future which composed of 3 words: “What, When and How.” Throughout history mankind has been asking the same questions about the future and it has never been more urgent than at this present time. By observing the current unfolding global events, a student of the Bible can take confidence and comfort in the authenticity and assurances of the Word of God.

Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Libya are the latest nations in the headlines that are demanding a change, bringing about revolution, leaving them potentially leaderless. Amazingly, all these nations serve as boundaries for half of Mediterranean Sea.

Twenty five hundred (2500) years ago, the omniscient God, who IS and knows the Beginning and the End, showed the unfolding of future events to his esteemed prophet Daniel.  Our God of Heaven vividly revealed to him that prior to the dawning of a new Golden Age (when the glory of the Lord will fill the earth as water fills the sea) the emergence of a “terrifying, frightening and powerful” beast that will arise from the sea. This beast will display some of the distinguishing marks of all four prior kingdoms namely Babylon, Persian, Greece and Rome. The re-emergence of a powerful unified kingdom with ten distinct nations of the past will occur.

For the past fifty years, the spotlight has been on the United States of America as the enviable super power. The world has witnessed amazing fulfillments of Biblical prophecies. In dealing with the unrest in Middle East- specifically Libya- the United States of America waited two weeks and sought permission from the United Nations (but not from her Congress) in dealing with Moammar Gadhafi.  It is unbelievable to see how the United States capitulated the unique stature it maintained for half a century to make way for the Beast. At the same time, she did not hesitate to tell Israel that SHE HAS NO RIGHT TO BUILD IN JERUSALEM! As the Lord commanded his disciples, “when you see these things, look up and anticipate the Son of man appearing in glory”.

Is Gog marching?

denverbabu | February 27, 2011 09:28

Is Gog on the move? Through the human history, nations of the world marched on the highway set up by the omniscient God of the universe. It is especially true with the nations surrounding Israel, Jerusalem His chosen Capital as shown to His choicest prophets.  God of the Bible has unveiled his plan to these unique prophets with diverse background who lived 600-700 years BC. It is amazing what these men spoken of is reported by our mainstream media as daily news.

A student of the sacred scriptures can take courage in the fact that these extraordinary marches of events affirm the authenticity of the Bible. Even the most respected Rabbis warn that what we witness could be the beginning of the attack of Gog (Russia).  It appears that the “middle east is on fire”, as the nations taking their allocated place in this amazing alignment. It started with Egypt, a descendent of Ham, which is known as the “cradle of Middle East” civilization is the alignment.  Tunisia, Libya, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait and other surrounding countries are restless and on the move.

The God of the universe who promised to rebuild the fallen tent of David and is about to fulfill his promise. These nations are getting ready for the coronation of the “Son of David” Who will sit on the “throne of David” and reign for a 1000 years.

Replacement theology

denverbabu | November 27, 2010 17:37

Through human history, the ugly head of Anti-Semitism raises its head. There are the usual perpetrators:  the Arab league, EU and certainly there is the ancient diving serpent (Vatican).  The venoms Trail blazed by  Holy Sea  for Jews spans the centuries filled with bloodshed.   Now the ugly head is showing with a new wave of hatred towards God’s special people with a special plausible wrapping. The rising tide of persecution of Middle Eastern Christians got the Holy See alarmed. A Catholic synod called at the Vatican to address the rising persecution in a statement that focused a lot of attention on demanding Israel end its “occupation” of Arab lands. The deeply rooted vile replacement theology is trumpeted by the Peter’s descendent. According to Roman church, the covenant God made with Abraham witnessed by heaven and earth is no more binding.  U.S. archbishop Cyril Salim Bustros, stated "For Christians, one can no longer talk of the land promised to the Jewish people… There is no longer a favored people, a chosen people; all men and women of every country have become the chosen people.”  The term "chosen people" does not symbolize superiority in Judaism, rather it means chosen to be obligated to the 613 commandments in the Bible and to inherit the Land of Israel”.The one whose opinion matters declared through Jeremiah 31:35 This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar — the Lord Almighty is his name: 36 "Only if these decrees vanish from my sight," declares the Lord, "will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before me." Jews are a peculiar chosen people to carry out His purpose to declare his glory. God in His eternal knowledge has set up a plan: until that plan enacted in its entirety, in His own time table, mankind will not achieve lasting peace.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

denverbabu | October 05, 2010 15:49

Psalms 2:6 I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

God, who knows the end at the beginning, chose Jerusalem and called it to be his earthly capital. Jerusalem is not like any other city. The great prophet Jeremiah warns that Jerusalem is “an immovable rock” and anybody who tries to move will get hurt. But there is no shortage of people who is willing to give their best shot to move it away from the plan of God. The Arab league fondly remembers their beloved leader Gamal Abdul Nasser, who desired to unite the Arabs against Israel and gain control of Jerusalem as the capital of Arabs. He wanted to push Jews to the sea. Amazingly the slogan is repeated by the next wave of leaders. He was followed by a long list of illustrious leaders who declared their commitment to divide Jerusalem.

History is filled with different players taking their turn at the same rock, forced to accept the defeat of their effort. The current efforts will be meet with same destiny until  the right one will be seated on the throne of David.

Rising Morning Star

denverbabu | June 01, 2010 06:00

Daily without any exception it seems like the media reports events that are extraordinary and unprecedented in nature.  The devastating earthquakes happened in Haiti, Chile, Japan and Taiwan succinctly proves this phenomena. The volcanic eruption in Iceland that shut down air traffic and the loss resulted is estimated to be over one 1 Billion dollars.  The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is projected to have most devastating impact on the ecosystem and fishing industry.

As Iran is faced with international sanctions, they are threatening to interrupt the oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz.  All indications are the Israel is faced with another war. The continued political unrest in Thailand, a hot spot for tourism industry has been bloody and devastating to their citizens. The Pakistan and India are pacing in anxiety like caged animals. United Nations, the world body that was formed after 2nd word war to avoid future human conflicts is helpless.

In a recent interview with a major network, when asked about the global problems mankind is faced with, the renowned Dalai Lama replied enthusiastically “with the exception of earthquakes, most problems mankind faced with currently are created by man himself, but we can find solutions and the future looks brighter than ever”.

In Romans 8:19-22 Apostle Paul spoke of the whole creation is anxiously waiting for liberation from bondage to decay. In the midst of all anxiety and turmoil, the hope must be on the dawning of the morning star.

Communication failed

denverbabu | March 23, 2010 05:13

Through the history, the annihilation of Jews has been a dream cradled by all known world powers. It is astounding to watch Secretary of the state Hillary Clinton demanding Israel cease all new construction in Jerusalem.  In addition, the quartet: United Nations, European Union, Russia and United States repeated the same demand.   God who sees the end at the beginning declared something so profound.  Zech 12:3 3 “On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves”.

To the listening audience who is willing to pay attention, 2600 years ago God of the universe made an unequivocal declaration through another  spokesman names Jeremiah. It is recorded in Jeremiah 31:35-37 “This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar — the Lord Almighty is his name: 36 "Only if these decrees vanish from my sight," declares the Lord, "will the descendants of Israel ever cease to be a nation before me." 37 This is what the Lord says: "Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done,” declares the Lord”.

God is in Control

denverbabu | January 31, 2010 06:55

After the death of one of the illustrious kings of Judah, Isaiah the prophet was distressed about the future of his beloved nation.  In half a century of reign he accomplished great things for the Lord yet due to pride and rebellion he became a leaper. A distressed prophet sought the Lord and he saw the real picture that the Lord seated on a high and exalted throne.

The recent political change in Massachusetts affirmed the divine pattern. One event changes everything.  As the ruler of the universe, God has a clearly set plan. The intricate details of a kingdom that will not be moved is in play. A great harvest is taking place in the middle of the rampant sin and uncertainty.

Book of Philippians speaks of a God who is Lord over everything. Things in heaven, in earth and underworld all are under His direct control. History proves one thing: God rules over the affairs of man. History is his story, nothing surprises him. He knows the end at the beginning; He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end.  He appoints and he removes. When man thinks he has everything under control, out of nowhere the invisible hand make a move and the landscape changes. In middle of chaos and turmoil, one can take comfort in the promises of God that he is in control. The Lord is seated on the throne. The kingdom of this world will become the kingdom of our Lord and his Christ.
